Signed by Secretary, Thomas Day. An official copy printed on the second page dated June 1, 1825, sent to the Governor of Pennsylvania requesting to be presented before the General Assembly of Pennsylvania. Signed by Oliver Wolcott.

Describes slavery as right and also is against voting rights for African Americans.

On the reverse side is a typed note, which details that Abernathy and 44 protestors were arrested during a sit-in in the lobby of the Graybar Building. The protest was for fair employment practices at A&P Company, demanding that Black people be given the opportunity to be in management positions, as well as, for the company to invest more money in Black neighborhoods.

One document entitled "Indian, Molatto, and Negro Servants and, Slaves" dated 1784. Pages were extracted from a printed folio volume of state laws. The law imposes a rule that any unaccompanied servant in public without a ticket or pass would be perceived as a runaway. This violation would cost twenty shillings. Measures extends to travelling alone, staying out past nine o'clock among many other regulations.
