Title: [Copy of a letter from Captain Jones adjutant to the Commissioner of War]
Writes, "Copy of a letter from Captain Jones adjutant to the Commissioner of War - We have eleven Boats at Westham at present unmanned. There are twelve Canoes under the direction of Nathaniel Anderson properly equiped. I have a sum of Specie which will enable me to Man the Boats in case of Emergency; and on timely notice can have the Canoes at Westham, which I expect will be sufficient to remove nearly the whole of the Arms you Mention." Docket describes the document as a "Copy of a Letter from Col. Davis, Comm. of War respecting the assistance to be got from the State in removing stores…
