Discusses whether the people will make their payments on time, and the consequences of not doing so. Also discusses many of his concerns about managing the land and paying the appropriate taxes.

Knox complains about people cutting his timber on the Warren lands and requests Joseph Copeland's assistance. Asks Joseph Copeland to find evidence and prosecute the trespassers. A note from one of the Copeland's agreeing to Knox's request is also included. Knox also discusses a deed that is part of the Waldo patent lands. A table with a list of names and acres owned is also provided. A portion of the letter is a duplicate of GLC02437.07499.

Also lists six petitioners who reside on Knox's land and who fought on the British side during the [Revolutionary] War.

The letter is signed by Andrew Craigie and his wife, Elizabeth Craigie. Alice Pollard signed as a witness and Aaron Hill signed as a witness and Justice of Peace. Craigie vouches that he received $10 from Henry Knox and releases all rights and "quit claimed" a tract of land (11,520 acres) located next to Henry and Lucy Knox's land (likely the Waldo patent lands). A very detailed description of the location and boundaries of the land is provided. Thomas Cobb noted at the bottom of the second page that the document was received and recorded. "30 March 1802" is noted on the docket.
