Accompanied by two non-contemporary clippings describing document that were used during its sale. Written at "Swift Run Gap." One right profile and one seated engraving of Jackson included.

Lists the articles of agreement. The treaty was concluded 24 June 1862 between William P. Dole, Commissioner for the United States, and the Councilmen of the Ottawa Indians, Pem-ach-wung, Chief; John T. Jones, William Hurr, and James Wind, Councilmen. Ratified 16 July 1862 and amended 19 July 1862.
