Title: The Constitutional Telegraphe. [Vol.1, no. 27 (January 1, 1800)]
This document is a copy of the Constitutional Telegraphe published in 1800. It reports on the "Triumph of Democracy," the funeral of Washington (with diagram of procession) and reports a speech of Gov. McKean. The top of the newpaper is decorated with a masthead of an eagle and the motto "We advocate the rights of man." The newspaper was active from 1799-1802 and supported Thomas Jefferson during his Presidency.
