Instructs Smith to send food for General Osterhaus, who has not received forage since he left Rossville, Georgia (often referred to as Rossville Gap). Will send his own cavalry tomorrow to meet Smith and General Grenville Dodge's train. Requests that Smith send a quartermaster to assist him in the field. Written on Headquarters, Fifteenth Army Corps stationery.
