Title: Testimony regarding the Livingston's rights to Taghkanic and the Manor
In the trial of Robert and Johannis Van Deusen v. Josiah Loomis, Jacob Decker and James Forder state that "Josiah Loomis told these Deponents that he had agreed with Robert Livingston Junr Esquire to plant Indian Corne on a Farm at Taghknaick for the Support of his family but that he the said Loomis was by the said Agreement not to plan the said farm in the ensuing Fall for the sewing of wheat but to leave the said Farm as soon as the said Robert Livingston Junr should order him so to do."
