In the trial of Robert and Johannis Van Deusen v. Josiah Loomis, Coenraadt Rosman declares that he "was told by Josiah Loomis that he the said Josiah had obtaind Leave of Robert Livingston Junr. Esquire to plant Summer grain on a Farm at Taghkanick that Summer."
