Clerical copy with signature of Joseph Warren, as President Pro Tempore, in the secretary's hand. Document refers to "the Recovery and preservation of our undoubted Rights and Liberties." Delineates pay scale of various ranks in the army, says a coat and uniform be given to each solider, also says town must provide blankets and miscellaneous supplies. Bottom of document says "True Coppy of the original." Repairs made where document was folded.

One copy of the probate and last will of Roper Dawson dated August 15, 1771. Outlines how his heirs, his wife Rachel, son George, and daughters Harriet and Charlotte will divide the estate upon his death. Appoints his wife and friends Augustus Van Cortland and George Baines as executors, who would have the power to remove the children from their mother if they deemed it necessary. States that Hquath, Cuba, Cyman, Jack and Yorick, people enslaved by Roper Dawson would continue to be enslaved by each of his children and wife.

Witnessed by George Cochran and William Lyon, a member of the Pennsylvania committee of safety. The oath of a loyalist named Robert Robb pledges non-aggression and loyalty to the cause of the United States. The second page is a bond holding the property of Robert Robb, David Robb, and James Smith, for Robb's parole, signed by Lyon by order of the Committee of Safety.

Autograph note on second page signed by Anne De Visme and dated 12 November 1792 states that she received of Prevost 260 pounds, 19 shillings by the hands of Aaron Burr. Document states that Prevost is of the 60th Regiment (in the British army).

Signed by Augustin Prevost. Title continues: by an officer of the guards, in two volumes, comprising of the campaigns of 1793, 1794 and the retreat through Holland to Westphalia in 1795. This is volume 1. Color engraving of a Hungarian foot soldier on second page. There is a traced image in pencil of the soldier on the other side of the page. Same page that Prevost signed. Title: The Offices of the Massachusetts Line

This document is a May 1793 account signed by Treasurer Henry Jackson with lists of payments to and from "The Officers of the Massachusetts Line". Along with this document is a note citing a payment of 214 dollars, "subscribed by a number of officers of the Line" to General William Hull. The general had been appointed by his fellow officers in the spring of 1792 to press a memorial to Congress requesting further compensation for Revolutionary War veterans. The note is attached to the debit report with a wax seal. These documents are stored in Size 1, Box 31.

Contains 22 pages of printed text, 7 pages of handwritten text. Relates traveling to Bedford and Salem. Mentions the Lucy, possibly a ship. Discusses the weather and a French naval fleet. Writes that Major General Horatio Gates assumed command of the Eastern Department (November 1778). In December, states that his entire detachment was discharged from duty based on Gates's orders. Title: [Copy of an act to suspend the opening of certain streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the War of 1812]

Suspends an act issued on 1 April 1811 authorizing the opening of streets through the Navy Yard in the Philadelphia districts of Moyamensing and Passyunk. The suspension will last for either six years or until the construction of war ships for the War of 1812 have been completed, launched, and equipped. Issued by Snyder as Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with paper state seal. Accompanied by a certification by Pennsylvania Secretary of State N.B. Boileau that this is a true copy and a certification that Boileau is indeed the Secretary of State.l.

Title: [License for William Dehone to sell goods in Boston, Massachusetts].

Also signed by Charles Bulfinch, William Porter, Eben Oliver, Joseph Foster, and Nathan Webb, all serving as the selectmen of Boston. The license was good for one year, and made in accordance with a June 1795 act of the General Court giving authority to the selectmen to regulate public vending. Captain John May participated in the Boston Tea Party. Bulfinch was a prominent architect.
