Wilkinson, Frederick W., fl. 1861-1863
Autograph letter signed
Title: to Amanda Wilkinson
He is sorry for not writing as he has not been well. He is also glad to hear that she and the baby are doing so well. Writes that the army will start for Richmond, Virginia tomorrow. Is glad to hear that Dr. Wells is doing so much better. Tells his wife about the death of Adjutant-General [Smith] who cried out for his wife with his last breath. Hopes that once he gets out of the army he will be out of debt so he can give her everything she wishes.
