Reports that he would have written sooner, but William Duer has not yet "been able to engage suitable characters to enter into a speculation of those lands." States that Mr. [Andrew] Craigie hopes to take part in the land dealings and has gone to Boston to inquire about his prospects. Notes that if Craigie declines the position, they will have to find a person "of solidity enough to carry it through." Noted as a copy and appears to be written in Henry Jackson's hand including Flint's signature. Sent with GLC02437.05529.

The second part certifies that Henry Jackson has presented and read all of the necessary papers to Mr. and Mrs. Grégoire and that they have received money. Noted as dated 13 July 1792 and signed by Samuel Bradford. Third part certifies that Henry Jackson went with Samuel Bradford to deliver three bonds to Mr. and Mrs. Grégoire and asked for a warranty deed for the contract, signed by Levi Stutson.

Shaw and Randall report that "Gen. Knox and Mr. Anthony are informed fully of the state of our concerns with G Bell & Co - and are ready for the issue."
