Says she isn't feeling well and may go to see an M.D. Says she and her sister avoided a ticket from a policeman who told her in Yiddish that he wasn't giving them a ticket for speeding because they were Jewish. Sylvia opines she was surprised that a patrolman was Jewish.

Tells Moe about a Captain who had once been a member of the Republican Party and was investigated by the FBI who asked him: "Have you been a member [of the communist party]." The Captain turned the tables on the FBI man and asked him the same question, and asked him for his identification papers as well.

Discusses the problems between her sister (Mad) and her parents and herself. Reports on her brother Alvin in the army.

There is also a discussion over older pictures of Bruce and his wife. This letter also mentions past correspondence between the two men in which Bruce had made an opinion that "our country will continue to advance in prosperity" There is also mentions of how African Americans should copy the white citizens and blend in with them.
