Title: [Indenture between Henry Jackson Hunt and John F. Lee regarding care of Hunt's filly]
Assures that Hunt's filly "was honestly come by, by the said Hunt, and was not captured, or taken as a prize of war, or as abandoned rebel property, or on any other customary and larcenous pretext, Now, therefore, said Lee out of Natural love and affection for said Hunt, and from considerations of patriotism... doth consent & agree to take said Filly, and tend her carefully, in like manner with his own blooded colts, free of charge to said Hunt... " Possibly created by Lee. Lee was an ordnance officer in the war.
