Discusses the obtainment of bills for Sears. Thanks Sears for procuring a cloak and bonnet for Mrs. Oliver, though wishes Sears would have sent a petticoat in the same box. Requests Sears to send a "Genteel Green Umbrella," a case of green-handled knives, and several other items. Marked as a copy at the top of page one.

Receipt confirms an agreement the company made on 27 August 1791 with William Duer in New York, and on 3 September 1791 with Henry Knox in Philadelphia; it lists goods and services purchased by the company on Henry Jackson's credit. The total amount of goods and services purchased was £188.2.2. Some of the items include planks, flints, washtubs, bread, and amounts due to various merchants.
