The bulk of these images document the activities of Roosevelt and the Rough Riders in Tampa, Fla., and Cuba during the Spanish American War, although the collection also contains portraits of Roosevelt, his wife Edith, and their children. Additional images include a view of the Roosevelt home in Oyster Bay, N.Y., and a photograph of the graveside service of Lt. Quentin Roosevelt after he was shot down near Chamery, France.

Includes a copy of a letter written to Harrison by Samuel G. Hopkins and dated 24 February 1813 that supports his views.
