Title: [Verdict transfering land in Livingston County, Kentucky from David Fort to the heirs of Enoch Duley]

Signed by Rappolee and William M. Gray as court commissioners, James W. Cade as clerk, and J.T. Hardin. The commissioners find that in a 8 October 1855 land sale from Fort to Duley (see GLC06377.11) of a tract supposed to contain 571 acres really had 696 acres. Awards Duley's sons, Enoch M. Duley, J.R. Duley, and the heirs of the deceased Lloyd Duley the remaining acres owed. A autograph note signed by Cade indicates the finding was recorded in the county records. A autograph note signed by Hardin indicates the result was acknowledged by Rappolee and Gray in open court.

Written in two hands. The first section, apparently in Knox's hand, outlines the lines of ownership and inheritance related to Mrs. Hannah Flucker's estate: declares that upon the death of Mrs. Hannah Flucker (the mother of Lucy Knox), half of the estate went to the Captain Thomas Flucker (Lucy's brother) and his heirs, one quarter went to Mrs. Hannah Urquhart Harwood (Lucy's sister) and her heirs, and one quarter went to Lucy. Lists the deeds and other paperwork from the Flucker estate. Interspersed are Knox's notes, many of them on the margins. The notes relate how valuable the property is in his eyes and also mentions any legal updates on specific pieces of property. Many of the deeds go back as far as the 1720s and 1730s, but the oldest one listed deals with the original deed to New Harbour in 1625. Knox numbers what appears to be the more valuable documents 201-214.
