Also touches on business arrangements with General [David] Cobb and Mr. [possibly James] Swan.

Complains of "vile misrepresentations" and "prejudices" being made during the trial. Also says his testimony could explain the nature of the transactions and justify Bingham's conduct but it has been rejected. Document is not signed but appears to be in Knox's handwriting. A rough outline regarding the Germans' land claims on the west side of Broad Bay (Waldoboro, Maine). Discusses land deals and legal obligations involving Henry Knox, Brigadier Samuel Waldo, Waldo heirs, and the Germans on the Waldo patent lands. First two pages are written on the verso of an unsigned printed deed of Henry Knox. Title and date was taken from docket. William Bradford appoints Henry Knox to be his "true and lawful" attorney (Power of Attorney). Appears that the legal agreement is particularly pertaining to land in Penobscot [County?], Maine. There is a note from Joseph Rawson at the bottom of the letter certifying the agreement.
