Thomes, and Mildred Bradshaw, with her mark. Note on docket states that George Winn, administrator of Mildred Bradshaw's estate, has paid the debt. Note is dated 25 June 1832, and is signed by William Bradshaw and Minor Bradshaw with his mark. A second note on the docket, dated 5 May 1832, states the bond has been transferred to George Winn, and is signed by Joshua Strattory.

Inventory lists the value of items belonging to the estate of Thomas Winn, including enslaved people, tools, livestock and foodstuffs. Also lists outstanding debts on Winn's estate. Among the enslaved people listed is "An old and superannuated woman Phebe (considered to be worth nothing)." Docket notes that the enslaved people were hired out from the estate. Appraised by John Fuqua, John G. Hughes and Pearce W. Metton. Signed by John Winn as administrator of the estate of Thomas Winn.

Same bill as GLC08058.01, with several amendments. Settles the penalty for knowingly harboring escaped slaves at $500 and requires those employing black labor to see a manumission paper. Says can avoid the penalty if the employer advertises a general description of the slave and his time and place of employment for at least three weeks. Requires jailers to advertise for at least six weeks that a slave has been jailed. Says whoever has the slave jailed will have to put up security for any bills and fees the jailing will incur.

Depicts a scene of quiet piety and great reverence in an army camp. Shows most of the men with their heads bowed in prayer, some weeping. Stonewall Jackson, a man known for his great religiosity, appears to be delivering a sermon to the men. Also shows a black man kneeling beside Jackson. Volck made a sketch of the actual event at Ball's Bluff, Virginia, which he later used to make this etching. Size in extent is for the mount. The actual size of the etching is 20.2 x 26.7 cm. The focal point of the sketch is a well-dressed white man who may be Henry Ward Beecher, a leader in the antislavery movement and pastor of a congregation in near Brooklyn, New York.
