Title: Report of the delegates of the banks of the City of New-York, to the bank convention, held at New-York, on 27th November to 1st December 1837.
Title continues: "Published by order of the General Committee of the City Banks." The convention had been called to respond to the Panic of 1837, and the report argues for the return to specie payments. The General Committee was led by President of the National Bank of New York Albert Gallatin. Printed in New York City by A. De Camp & Co. With original printed wrappers, stab-stitched as issued.
