Notes the Secretary of Treasurer, Alexander Hamilton, has informed him that in order to obtain a draft of money for the departments in the census, another person needs to be empowered to perform drawing and transmitting duties during his absence. Requests Knox takes over this function and to transmit the money by post. "Free" stamped on address leaf with no signature.
