"The Treasurer reported that the Diplomas ordered to be procured by Messieurs Boudinot and Dayton were printed, but the President general had not signed them - Ordered that Mr. John Beatty be added to the above committee, and that they procure and deliver said Diplomas, as soon as may be to the Treasurer." The island is between 700 and 800 acres of land and is being sold to Henry Knox for ten shillings to each party. The deed is signed by each party, excluding Knox.
