Docket notes "No. 15 Free Negroes." and states that Baddeau has been brought before the court on 6 October 1857, signed by J. Moreau, sheriff, and [J.?] Ziegler, his deputy.

States she will visit Scotland and notes that she is currently working on a "Key to Uncle Tom's Cabin."
