Henry's brother, William, discusses a delicate situation in which Knox's friend, Henry Jackson, invested nearly 10,000 dollars worth of Knox's notes without his permission. Knox sent William to Boston in an attempt to reclaim the notes. William relates the state of the notes, which Jackson distributed among several persons.
