Next to the signatures note stating deed was "cancelled the 16 Oct 1804." The bottom half of the third page has been lost.

Asks Hobart to keep him updated about his exploits with the females and advises him not let the females complain when he is leaving "as Dido did of...Eros." Instead, he should "leave them a young Hobart to play in their streets."
