Nancy Simpkins
Nancy Simpkins is a founding Trustee and past Chair of the Board of The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY, and the Chair of the Board of Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT. She is also a Trustee of Teachers College at Columbia University; The Esther A. and Joseph Klingenstein Fund, which supports neuroscience research, leadership in independent schools, and early childhood development; the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation, which supports child and adolescent depression and ADHD; and the Sadie and Harry Davis Foundation, which funds pediatric health in the state of Maine.
Nancy received her BA from Smith College in 1977. She lives in South Salem, NY, and also has a home in the Adirondacks. When she’s not sitting in a boardroom, she enjoys genealogy, gardening, and observing the natural world.
