Linda Pace

Linda Pace was partner and vice chairman of Global Credit at the Carlyle Group and currently serves as chair of Carlyle’s public and private Business Development Companies. She began her career at Carlyle over two decades ago focusing on non-investment grade credit investing. Pace was the portfolio manager for the US structured products business until 2020, managing $20 billion in assets and a team of approximately twenty investment professionals. She also served on various investment and valuation committees across liquid and illiquid credit assets. Starting in 2019 she served as CEO and chairman of Carlyle’s middle-market private credit business. Pace graduated from Douglass College with a BA in French and spent some time in France teaching English before returning to New York to pursue an MBA in finance from NYU. With her husband, Michael, she splits her time between the Jersey shore and Saratoga Springs, NY.
