Livingston, Gilbert, 1718-1789
to Alida Livingston re: order to grind wheat for sale
On behalf of his father, Gilbert tells his mother to stop brewing and malting beer, as it is too late in the year to sell it. Rather, she ought to grind all the flour and purchase as much wheat as possible, since these will get a better price.
