Moe played ping-pong again, then had a buffet dinner, played cards, and saw a movie. Moe is glad he told Sylvia to relax as much as possible even though he knows she will do what she wants.

Moe apologizes for not writing earlier as he been too busy playing Gin Rummy and doing small tasks. He says he has been to a movie and a variety show so far.

Moe has just been to the movies to see a Betty Grable film. He says most of the films showing are American because the English ones are not very good.

Moe is having less trouble sleeping during the day because of his blackout shade. He says he will pin up Sylvia's sketch of the fireplace in his room.

Moe mentions that after the ceremony they were served tea and cakes. He also mentions that there was a musical part of the program in which women played the piano and violin.

Moe mentions that while he was playing gin with the boys they listened to a radio program with Bob Hope. Everything they see and hear reminds them of home. He is feeling very nostalgic, and homesick.

Moe wishes he could spend his time answering Sylvia's letters. He read an article about a show called "She's the Army." It is almost impossible to get tickets for the show, he tried.

Moe went to a picture show, and enjoyed it. There were songs that he and Sylvia have sung many times, and it brought back a lot of memories.

Moe describes his recent trip with Marty, calling it The Winchester Adventure. Moe mentions the basic history of the city, and seeing a statue of King Alfred, the cathedral. Winchester College, etc.

Moe has written a second installment of the Winchester Adventure. In this letter he describes Westgate Tower, the castle, the Church of St. Cross, the city museum, etc. He also mentions that later that day they had tea at a charming cafe.

Moe acknowledges that Sylvia went to Frank's show. Hearing about him and Lil and Hy makes him feel at home.

Moe remembers listening to Benny Goodman and others with Sylvia. He tells her to play her records and dance.

Moe wished her a happy valentine's day and mentions that he went to a live performance of Beethoven. Afterwards he enjoyed a high tea and met up with Mrs. Malcolm again.

Moe went to a movie called "North Star" and enjoyed it immensely. He comments that he likes London a lot. He says it is his favorite city next to New York.

Moe went to London again and contacted Mrs. Malcolm and thanked her for her previous hospitality. He also saw a play called "The Lisbon Story."

Moe enjoyed her drawing of a typical Sunday spent between the two of them. He discusses Kessler's discharge, and sneeringly refers to a Jerry Miller. He also says that if Sylvia is jealous of Rose H's coat she should go ahead and get one herself.

Moe explored the new town, and went to the movies. In response to Sylvia's complaints about women who have husbands at home he copied a poem from "Punch" on the subject.
