One newspaper clipping sent by Omer H. Kelpe to Virginia Heidt Kelpe in a letter dated September 13, 1944. The article is entitled Bedfellows and concerns the Democratic and Republican nominees for the state representative seat for Monroe County. Apparently they were on the campaign trail and went to check into a hotel, but there was only one room available so they ended up sharing a room.
