One letter from Carlos J. Moorhead to Adelyn Holmstrom dated August 19, 1974. Moorhead explains to constituent why he urged President Nixon to resign rather than face trial. "The information... on Monday August 5, made it perfectly clear that nothing could be done to help the President and encouraging him to stay in office... would have been no help to the President..."
