One letter from Edith M. Welch to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated January 21, 1974. Welch is against the impeachment of President Nixon and writes, "Let's get off the president's back and get down to more serious things such as...the discrimination that is now going on with all white people who are trying to make a decent living and who are qualified for their jobs but are not accepted because they are white."
