One undated newspaper clipping from Donald H. and Cedric A. Scott, John S. Hanna, C. Birk Lefler and Robery V. Edwards. Item is a letter to the editor defending President Nixon against media coverage of the impeachment. They write, "The President gets our support because of what he stands for in opposing those two trends and because his opponents are to get him by fair means or foul. The media is handmaiden of these opponents because the media itself is so frequently dominated by ‘leftism’ and also appears willing to sell its soul for headlines. Objective news reporting seems secondary." Item is attached with three other newspaper clippings and a letter to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead. (see GLC09613.02.2263.01-.03)

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
