One newspaper clipping by George R. Hearst Jr. dated February 28, 1974. Details that Nixon should hold more press conferences, in order for viewers to understand the president’s emotions more. He writes, "Observers could well differ on what the President said. To critics some of the answers no doubt seemed perfunctory, repetitious, over-optimistic and even dissembling. Critics and supporters alike, however, could scarcely doubt they were watching a man very much in charge of himself, very aware of what he was saying, very much a leader to whom the gravest of trouble is a challenge to positive action - however unpopular." Item is attached with three other newspaper clippings and a letter to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead. (see GLC09613.02.2263.01, .02, .04)
