One poem from Helen C. Streit to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated October 27, 1973. Streit is against the impeachment of President Nixon. The poem she sent reads, "There is a word / And the word is Watergate / Seized by those / who would annihilate / President Nixon / Despite his great worth / In bringing future peace / To this weary old earth. / It's up to the House / Judiciary Branch / To bring to a halt / This noxious avalanche."
