One letter from Charles E. Jr. Battram and Mrs. Charles E. Battram, to Congressman Peter W. Rodino copied to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead, Congressman Charles Wiggins and Congressman George Danielson dated November 5, 1973. The Battrams support the impeachment of President Nixon. They note that they do not want Gerald Ford to automatically become president after the impeachment, and comment that "the President might even "manufacture" an international crisis and launch a military "coup" to maintain himself in office."
