One letter addressed to Mary Mitchell from Wallace Mitchell dated February 10, 1865. Pertains to fighting a battle, possibly Battle of Hatcher's Run. Some horses had to be abandoned en route as the road conditions were so bad. He describes the fighting and the wounds received by his fellow soldiers. Also includes a diagram of the battlefield.
