To commemorate the centennial of World War I, we are pleased to offer free professional development sessions in forty cities across the country. These sessions will focus on different aspects of the war and how to effectively bring that content back to the classroom. Each session will include
- a lecture by an eminent historian in the field
- a pedagogical session led by a Gilder Lehrman Master Teacher Fellow
- free classroom materials
- free breakfast and lunch
- a $40 stipend for attending
- a certificate of attendance or CTLE Letter (upon request)
Below you will find the list of cities we are planning to reach in the 2019–2020 school year. Please note that not all details are finalized, but the information will be updated regularly. Cities with links are open for registration up until the evening before the workshop.
