One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff, dated October 13, 1943. Leonard updates his parents on the mail situation. He received eight letters in one day so now he has to rush to answer them. He reports that the programs she mentioned in the last letter are only for the Ship's Company, the men who are regularly stationed at Great Lakes, not for the trainees. They did have an hour of amateur entertainment from other recruits. There was one funny guy who talked like Daffy Duck. Leonard thanks his dad for taking care of the car and tells them to say hello to everyone.
