One letter from E.M. Stouffer to Leonard Eugene Graeff, dated October 8, 1943. Stouffer writes to Leonard that she is sorry it took so long to write. She updates him on "Eggie," who is home, and she is baking a chocolate cake for him. Stouffer mentions recieving a letter from Wayne. He is in England and can't tell her where, but it took a month to get the letter. She also mentions Charlie who is in the army and thinks he will be assigned to the quartermaster corp. States that it will be Columbus Day soon and some people are planning to donate blood.
