One pamphlet entitled, "Freedom to Serve: Equality of Treatment and Opportunity in the Armed Services," by the President's Committee dated 1950. Following President Harry S. Truman's executive order, mandating that there would be no discrimination in the armed forces, the study analyzes whether or not African Americans would be fit to serve.
