Scope of list contains instances in Alabama cities: Bessemer, Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville, Montgomery, Talladega, and Selma; Arkansas cities: Gillett, Hot Springs, Little Rock, Pine Bluff; and Florida cities: Bradenton, Clearwater and Cocoa. Occurrences mentioned are church bombings, picketing against wage discrimination, sit-ins, demonstrations, committee meetings and successes.
