One trading card from the Red Menace collection, "28. Berlin Airlift" depicting Air Force members preparing airplanes with bags of supplies. Reverse side contains propaganda narrative mentions an operation known as the Berlin Airlift or "Operation Vittles." This was the response of United States Air Force to the Soviet blockage of Berlin's western-zoned air and land traffic areas in June 1948. U.S. and Royal Air Forces delivered in "less than 11 months thet Airlift brought 1 1/2 million tons of supplies," which forced the Soviet union to lift the ban.
