One letter from Robert A. Winemiller to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated January 12 1943. He recounts his recent training as fun except for having to dig fox holes. He tells Leonard that "Dotty has found either a 2B a 2C or 4F which she says she likes a lot." He asks about a woman Leonard is taking out and mentions a "beautiful girl working in a dry store in town" and that he will see what he can do. He also mentions not feeling as sad about Dotty as he expected. He still doesn't know when he will receive furlough, and hopes it will be before his unit goes to Florida. Signed "Fuzz."
