Trimble, colonel of engineers in Virginia's forces (Confederate), discusses the delivery of arms and ammunition to George Proctor Kane, Marshal of Police in Baltimore, Maryland. Authorizes H. F. Alberte and Company to make the delivery. Claims he delivers the arms to Kane for safe-keeping "to deposit with the city, properly packed up- with Inventory of the same- to be taken to the City, if [the?] state determine to do so." Docketed in pencil. Contains two pieces of mounting tape.
