Mentions his note that Greenough would like to read to the trustees. Discusses the board of trustees' objection to comments made by a Mr. Caper. States that Mr. Caper felt the charge against him of dilatoriness was exaggerated. Possibly speaking of the trustees of the American Anti-Slavery Society, of which Phillips was a member.
