Article clipped from the Yankee newspaper criticizes the Massachusetts legislature for backing down on the issue of Massachusetts seceding from the United States and calls them a "lifeless body." Puts the blame on Governor Caleb Strong of Massachusetts. The two publishers of the Yankee newspaper, Joshua Hooper and Thomas Rowe, were accused of sedition against the United States government for printing this article. Date inferred from content.
