Response to Kohl's solicitation letter. Landry discusses being raised Methodist and going to church. At 33 he realized he was not really a christian, only a churchgoer. He tried to be the best football player and coach he could, but felt empty despite his gridiron successes. He joined a Bible study group and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord, which shifted God and family ahead of football on his list of priorities.
