The image shows the back of a line of cannons with soldiers clustered around each cannon. There is a large pole near the center of the image and officers are lined up on either side of it. Inscription on verso: "Gardner." Numeric notation on verso: "1158." Numeric notation scratched into negative: "1158."

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
