At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Informs Bryant he received the securities that were forwarded to him. Notes he is unclear who to credit the account to. Says he will balance the accounts and charge any differences to Bryant's account. If that is not acceptable Bryant is to inform Hodgdon which accounts to credit or charge.
