Lieutenant T. Otis Baker served in Co. B, 10th Mississippi Infantry, C.S.A. The diary covers 9 October 1862 -2 August 1863. Diary is primarily written in pencil and has some touch-ups. The diary contains entries for the period 24 June-14 July 1863, covering Rosecrans' Tullahoma campaign and its aftermath.
